Several year old Xperia is starting to get dead spots on the edge of the digitizer, have been making use of glove mode but starting to get fed up with the whole thing.
The Z3 compact has done everything I need it to do so I figure no point going to the top of the line from any of the big players but at the same time I don't really want to go backwards with whatever I replace it with. What are the similar featured phones I should be looking into?
I figured these were the current updated generation but I don't need the "newer shinier" update. Mainly just want something with at least comparable features so I don't feel like I'm going backwards with the tech.
Z3 series of Sony phones was one of the best handsets around..
Until you drop them at all. RIP Z3 Compact :(
Somehow my XZ seems to have survived a few tumbles though. Scuffed edges but no cracks?
What about the Moto X4? Anyone got experience on both?
I went from a Z3 to Samsung Galaxy S7? They are pretty close in terms of features - so maybe a newer S8/9
Replaced my partners with a Xiaomi Redmi 4. A Redmi 6 is a substantial upgrade on that, although the size has gotten a bit bigger.
I went from the Z3 compact to a Moto G5 plus.
Much prefer the Moto to the Z3 (even though that was a great phone)
XZ1 Compact, XZ2 Compact.
