Do kiosks have Blu-rays or the coveted 4K Blu-ray, or is their stock limited to archaic DVDs? Public libraries in brisbane only seem to have DVDs.
The first DVD movies were released in 1996, over 20 years ago, and Blu-Rays in about 2006. I rented Blu-rays from the local vocal store for many years until it shut it's doors at the end of 2016.
Mostly DVDs of new releases and recentish flicks with a few Blu-rays thrown in. No 4K or 3D Blu-rays afaik unfortunately.
How do these businesses generate profit? I have no idea, thanks for the post OP, but don’t see myself using this method to watch movies anymore.
