I was wondering if anyone knows whether Amazon Household (Amazon's version of Apple's Family Sharing/Google Families) (see https://goo.gl/WYB1YC) applies to Prime on Amazon Australia.
I can't seem to find anything on the Amazon.com.au site; so my guess is that the answer is no. That said, has anyone heard anything about it ie. whether it is coming to Australia and when etc?
No been a huge gripe of mine this missing along with FreeTime. As is there are no parental controls on Echo devices in Australia and or on Amazon Music.

Shame there's no Amazon FreeTime service. It looks pretty good.
I've been asking them for years - I've got three Kindles and use the family library. When the Australian store started up, I asked them if they were going to make it available and they said they had no plans to do so. So I'm sticking with the US account.

Just got a echo and can only use it by myself,
I managed to get it working by visiting amazon.com and setting it up from there
They have like 500 more options available to amazon.com website which are missing from amazon.com.au
But I had amazon.com account long before I had amazon.com.au account so I am not sure if you signed up to amazon.com.au first it would work

I should have come here first, We moved my partner's Audible account from the US to amazon AU, thinking we could set up family sharing. Only to find out that once we transferred we would never be able to move back to a US account. Now we have 2 amazon AU accounts and no capability to have any family sharing, thanks, amazon AU!!

The household facility is not currently available. I haven’t come across any statements about it being available in future. We pay less than the US for a prime subscription so I expect we won’t see it with current pricing. There doesn’t seem to a a restriction on the number of devices logged in with a single account though - I think I am up to 8 at the moment.
