        • (No Scab in comments) in title :)

  • Got some half frozen nuggets from a Red Rooter once. Never trusted them again after that.

    • +1

I used to work for them, their nuggets are crap.

  • The true ozbargainer would buy chicken breast, dice it and then coat it in the Ingham's coating from Woolies for $1 + egg + milk

Apart from Scotty, mobody here can afford chicken breast.

$5-6 total for ingredients. Cheaper than $10 for crap.

  • Sounds vile :)

  • Dead set these are gross.

  • +1

The only thing I've ever tasted remotely this bad was the cheesy cheeseburger from Hungry Jack's for $2.

    Needless to say nuggets go
    KFC -> Macca's -> Coles/Woolies -> Red Rooster

Red Rooster -> Mouth -> Colon -> Toilet bowl… (and sometimes the walls)

      • +2

KFC -> mouth -> man boobs -> guys hitting on you -> public toilet.

  • These are the worst nuggets ever. Do not try them.

  • Most red rooster stuff tastes microwaved and soggy..

    • +1

      Because it is.

The rolls and burgers are pre-made fron shredded leftover chichen.

Made in bulk, kept in the cool room and microwaved on order.

      • The irony is I'd actually buy shredded leftover chicken

  • RR, MD, KFC and HJ which one offers best chicken nuggets?

  • Tried them, not cheesy at all. Won't buy again.

agreed with comments, they taste like 10% cheese, 10% chicken, 50% air & 30% chemical concoction, though i find the maccas ones are always dried up, kfc ones the best

I am currently eating the nuggets so I am going to put my comment on the taste. I am eating it while still hot.

    • It is very crispy.
    • The sesame seed makes it smell fragrant.
    • Melted cheese.
    • They look like boots shape.

    • Does't have the meaty texture.

    • Does't have cheese smell on the bite.

If you like crispy from the outside and soft in the inside then this is definitely for you.

If you like a very strong meaty taste then this is not for you.

Everyone has a different taste preference. Also not every cook the same.

For me they are not bad.

There you go guys. Have a lovely evening.

  • I love them. Don't listen to the others. Please try for yourself.
