It may be a Cortex A8 but it is an inferior version to that of the iPad. This one's a S5PV210 version.

So it won't be as fast, nor will the battery life be as good. And this one lacks Bluetooth and GPS radios, it seems.

Though I'd rather pay $50USD more and get a Nook Color which has proper hardware and Honeycomb 3.0..

  yeah nook Colour still wins for me.. despite the slower CPU.
  It has very strong developer support already.. This one may gain a community, but I reckon the build quality on the nook would surpass that on this tablet and you don't have to "hope" for developer support..

If I was looking for a tablet I don't reckon a 7" screen would cut it! I would want closer to the iPad @ ~9"-10"! ;)
