          Buy it tomorrow and select pick up. If you get a better deal at JB later, don't pick up your order. Your order will get cancelled in 10 days and you get your money back. Also, I think you can cancel it yourself before that.

        You know the bad reviews are a protest rather than a reflection of the game being poor?

        Peeps who pre-ordered and paid full price were annoyed it went on sale almost immediately after release so started review bombing.

              @railspider: You need to factor in that GTA5 has a massive online component that is still very popular, opposed to the other games you have listed which are strictly single player and lose their value very fast regardless if how good they are due to people trading them in soon after purchase, swapping them with friends etc.

          The game IS bad, I only finished the game because I was invested since the first game. the whole playthrough I couldn't wait for the finish line. it's pretty much going through what the first original Tomb Raider went, where the first game was a hit and dropping in quality consistently - ironically this is what the developer was trying to avoid.

        The tomb raider games have all dropped quite quickly. Seems to be the approach that square enix takes with their pricing.

        That would be ideal. Particularly if you have Prime. No driving to stores, dealing with opened copies of games with scratched discs/cases or trying elsewhere to get pricematched.

      I was in the same boat but I listed the game up on ebay and sold it for $60 as I knew it would start to drop the second I saw this deal pop up.

      After fees, I still make a few dollars profit and will just buy Spiderman from Big W (Or most likely Amazon as they'll surely match it.)

    Can't see these titles getting much cheaper than this.

    I wonder what their stock levels are like?

    Was pretty pleased with myself for getting GOW for $38 but $29 is nek level!

    I reckon I'll be copping Spiderman, Far Cry 5 and Tomb Raider.

        I just picked up two copies of the new Pokemon games for my kids (the ones with the Pokeballs) I asked EB to match target and they refused. They said that target had limited stock and we're probably sold out. I asked which store and he tells me the smallest store in the area. I mention a much larger store which is closer and so he tells me that they can't match out of town (he just told me he had called another store out of town!). I then told him to keep them and I'll pick them up in Newcastle, I'll just get them to move the preorder to an EB store that wants my custom (I traded games in). He caved in immediately.

        EB Games Raymond Terrace, your manager sucks.

          I actually upgraded to v2 and I must say the little quality of life changes were totally worth it.

          In a nutshell; the headphones are integrated into the headset, less cabling, less hassle.

          The volume controls and power are all integrated into the headset, leaving the cable to be about at a guess 1/5th as thick as v1. This in itself makes a tangible difference to the experience. Previously I was constantly aware and tugging at the cable repositioning it, v2 it almost completely disappeares.

          Personally I was not expecting that such little alterations could make such a big impact in practice. Do not discount it.

        It'll depend on whether its a boxed bundle (i.e. console + game in same box) or a separate PRO console + Spiderman game.

        If it's the former then it'll likely be an older console version (seeing that Spiderman was released back in September and the newer CUH-7200 series was released more recently, it's unlikely Sony would box a new console with an already released game; they would more likely box it with RDR2/Hitman/ the new fallout etc.).

        It it's the latter, then there would be a chance that it is the new CUH-7200 series.

          Out of curiosity, is there any way to tell by looking at the box which model you're getting?

          I've been considering getting a PS4 Pro. If I do it, I'd like to make sure I get the new, quieter version. If the guy in EB or wherever goes and gets one and brings it to the counter, it would be good if I was able to check it (without actually opening it all up and unpacking it right there in the store) and ask him to swap it for the newer one if necessary.

          Thanks for the heads up. Hadn't even realised a new version had been released. Just read a few articles from start of month it appears in the UK & US the only pro bundles with the 7200 series are the RDR2 bundles. Likely be the same here.

            @lestat87: the only bundle that has the 7200 version is the red dead redemption bundle, this is still a very new updated console. %90 sure this is not the 7200 version. even in usa that model only is shipping with the new red dead bundle which is not offered in aus anyway..

      Never been a GOTY for a God of War Game before.
      Games don't have to win GOTY to have a GOTY edition released by the way….
      AFL Live 1 and 2 on PS3 had GOTY editions with DLC for example lol.

      Unless you're desperate I'd just wait, I also have about 100 PS3 games still in my backlog but I'm still playing PSVR atm so these new releases just have to wait.
