only difference is i think rdr2 is actually worth it… not this.

I love Bethesda but I'm yet to hear anything good about it after the beta!

    • Yep! It's getting smashed on online reviews everywhere.
I'm not talking about "it's average" or "ok"… it's crapola!
No NPC's, no character development, just a monotonous quest grind listening to holotapes>fetch>repeat.

Bethesda has really dropped the ball big time on this. Don't buy it, seriously. I'm a huge fan of their previous games, but this is well below acceptable.

Not really worth it, considering Amazon AU has S.P.E.C.I.A.L or Standard version for $49.76 Delivered.

      I guess EB’s price is nothing… special.

  • Is there a list of eligible games, or only calling EB to find out

    • Honestly the only way is to go in or call up. You can use 1/4-1/3 RRP as a rule of thumb but it also goes by demand and how much they have in stock for pre owned. For example I called up about the trade price for fifa 18 and was told $11 over the phone but I didn't go in for 2 days and the trade value changed to $8 because people had traded it to the deal and they had a lot in stock.

      • Thanks for info.

  • Alright, so I am aware that this game is completely different to that of Fallout 4.

I personally am not too interested in the world of Fallout but I do love online games like The Division and can appreciate games like Ark. All of my usual gaming buddies are into 76, have all picked it up and will be playing it.

Is this game worth it enough for the sole purpose of playing with them online?

If you enjoyed trash like The Division then you’ll likely enjoy the trash that is Fallout 76.

But seriously, people you play with can make the experience a bit better. If they’re all getting on it, and you enjoy playing with them, then only you can really decide if it’s worth the investment to play this one with them or not.

Hopefully they’ve all got RDR2 and you can just ply that with them when the MP beta launches later this month.

      • Trash like The Division? Sorry man I tuned out after I read that..

I assume you read/ saw impressions right from launch and not played it lately..

I despise Rockstar Games, so I have unfortunately not played RDR2 yet LOL.

I actually played it, and stand by my trash comment. Yeah it’s been updated a whole lot since launch with Year 2 updates etc and meant to have improved a lot, but that doesn’t change that the launch game was rubbish. I got rid of it while it still had some value so haven’t played the ‘updated to what it should’ve been like at launch’ version.

RDR 2 is great but if you’re not a fan of Rockstar games, it’s the same formula so you likely won’t dig it..

Is there a page on the EB site that lists all the trade in deals that get you new release titles for "cheaper"?

    • Follow their social media, most of these deals only run for a few days to a week.
