    Citizen sapphire @ $99, what's not to like…

    • +1

30m water resistance - always found that disappointing in the au1080 regardless of the low price. Would much prefer mineral glass and 100m

      • +2

Just don't go any under than 30 meters you will be fine

  • +2

Excellent prices. Joyce Jewellery of Sydney offer the AU1080-38E for $229 and Citizen Australia still list it at $325!

  • +2

    I do like that turtle

  • +2

    Q is Starbuy a good store.or.

    • +4

Every watch is absolutely authentic. I purchased and collected three times.

    • +3

      Yes.

    • +2

Got a $150 eco drive chrono, perfect watch new, complete boxing with the inside fancy showcase box and little pillow and booklet, delivery was fast in Sydney.

  • Any deals WatchNerd on a Tissot T-Touch Sola?

  • +1

some good deals as usual, thanks watchnerd :)

  • They need to release a PADI hydro series so it can stay powered when you're 200m down

  • +5

My wallet sweats every time a Starbuy deal comes up.

  • +2

Thanks OP! I couldn't decide between the black and white AU1080 so I got both! Bargain price.

    • +3

Dammit you're not helping - I'm having the same dilemma but I don't need two of the same watch!

  • +1

I swear I have no idea why I purchased this!!!

    • +2

PJC should be along with absolution later…

    • +4

By the power vested in me it is my solemn duty to hereby absolve you of all blame and any residual guilt concerning the essential acquisition of this remarkably inexpensive exquisite horological masterpiece. ® © ™

I’m still upset I missed the deal on the BN0190-82E. But the Nighthawk is very tempting.

    • +1

Only trouble is that it's hard to tell the time with all the other stuff going on.

      • if you know how to use the e6bs face then it's not that hard to tell :)

  • +1

i have the eco drive au1080. the strap width is 18mm

    • Could you swap it out for a leather strap?

      • +1

Yes, I have read that you can change straps.

      • +1

yes. as long as its 18mm. got several from aliexpress. different strap feels like a different watch ;)

  • +3

    Another excellent post by WatchNerd.

The Nighthawk really looks appealing to me, but I am saving for Skmis' & Naviforces' :P ;)

  • +2

Sweet. Thanks, OP. I just pulled the trigger on the AU1080 with black face. I love the simple look.

    • +2

I just bought the white one.

  • +4

Showed a mate and he asked if that was what I was buying him for Christmas. Cheeky bugger🙂

  • Damn good deal on the padi…ive only just bought the samurai tho *cries i shouldnt buy another yet…

    • +1

Yeah, a very difficult choice for me as well.

      • I do want my second watch to be a pepsi dial T.T

  • The AU1080-20A is an 18 lug size. I bought it last deal.

  • +1

Too many good watch deals lately… Only just bought a Citizen Eco-drive promaster from the last deal and a Cadisen automatic from a gearbest deal. But that Citizen AU1080-38E is a really good price.. $99 for sapphire, eco-drive and a nice clean look is hard to pass on…. Only thing holding me back is that 38mm might look too small on my wrist.

  • Got convinced to buy the 1080 last deal and never actually used it since although it is a nice watch. Suckered by OzB :/

  • +1

Picked up the Citizen Eco-Drive Black as a Christmas pressie for my brother. Thanks op.

  • purchased Citizen Eco-Drive White AU1080-20A from the last deal. arrived quickly and the watch itself is really nice. my only gripe is that the strap is more of a pink-ish pearl colour than the images suggest. Not really an issue though as I have replaced it with a nice leather strap. would happily buy from starbuy again

  • Need Help with my citizen BL8140-80E which has a perceptual calendar. is there any video instruction out there? it does come with a manual but it is quite confusing. thank you!

  • Hi watchnerd really enjoying my Citizen Eco-Drive White AU1080-20A but would prefer a thicker strap do you have any recommendations?

    • +1

Hi Bob, you'll need member ilikeit to answer this. I will see if I can get him.
