These are usually $320-350+ in Australia and are a nice small tank to keep a few fish in style, very quiet running and good lights. Aquarium is too small to keep goldfish in, and does not come with a heater so you will need one of those for tropical fish. You could keep White Cloud Mountain Minnows in it as is, though young fry would end up in the filter unless you add some sponge or floss to block it off a bit. We will be using it as a Betta tank, filter pump is quite powerful so a little care needs to be taken to reduce the flow.

Rarely see this tank priced so low.

    You can certainly buy a cheaper setup than this, you could get a bucket and a filter for $15 …. but that’s not quite the same.

    The Fluval Flex are glass not plastic.

  I have a breed of cherry shrimp I have made, they are bright green with a massive yellow stripe down their back. I have 3 planted aquariums with shrimp in each. this is a good deal.

  Just picked my one up and its the updated version with the extra covers that go over the filter inlets, to stop smaller fish going in.
