  Plenty of stuff that just doesn't get discounted because of how popular it is. They already had the best local price on the Boss Katana 100 and although the discount was only 10% I have not seen them go under the $479 it was originally listed at anywhere else and I've been monitoring them for months. Of course now that I've pulled the trigger at $431.10 prices will plunge elsewhere but shhhh.

  Also put an order in for a Yamaha APX600 for $335, they only have the natural finish and I had been planning on getting the black from Musos Corner, and I didn't want to risk them knocking back the price match and me missing out cos the sale was over.

  I'm sure there are much better deals, but I'm pointing out these items in particular because they are big selling items that move without ever having to be discounted even if the discounts are small compared to other items.

  Hey OP (rep/marketing)Bought a Rode mic over the weekend, was made to feel guilty really for getting it for $69.00 Google pop up ad said $69.00 when visiting site $79.00, sent am email to query the price, reply was cost has gone up but happy to sell at the lower price, come in or call. I went in and though I showed the email, guy tried to charge$79.00. I said I was told they'd do it for 69.00 annoyed he did it, pausing to remind me, he'd do that only once, supplier cost gone up selling it at 0 profit etc.
  I said no worries thank you.
  It's now at $63.20…?! Selling at a loss?

  Don't forget some of us make the effort to get to stores, I live 1 hr. Away, but was in the CBD so made the extra trip. Could've got it online cheaper but decided to go because of the nice gesture of honouring the ad price.

  A bit embarrassing, I went with my young daughters, and they witnessed this, not a great experience for a first time customer.
