I infrequently see oxtail available at my coles / woolies / iga, and I almost never see it at the Big Gun Butchers.
When I do its always priced like a very premium cut of meat, considering bones usually make up about 50% of the weight, its like $20-$25/kg.
Where can I pick up oxtail at a more sane price?
If you have a branch cutter, just take a drive into the country.

Can't say what the price is, but Inala is a good place to get good cuts of meat and oxtail.
