I'm using them right now because I was dumb enough to buy them last time I had a sore throat. IMHO they are garbage and don't work any better than lollies such as butter menthol or soothers… ie: a bit of lubricant will decrease throat irritation but don't expect anything from the antibacterial/anaesthetic (it'll make the tip of your tongue numb and that's about it).
IMHO $2 is about what they are worth, purely because they need to be cheaper than other lollies.
So $1 is a bargain but don't expect much out of them.
IMHO strepsils may be the only lolly that actually does anything to do a sore throat.
The rest don't seem to do much. They help a bit, but not enough to buy them.
Haven't tried Codral but will give them a shot for $1. At least the menthol will make it feel like my nose is unclogged for a while.
