I was just looking at bbq's from here yesterday and some caught my eye. I saw this post and got really excited only to find that upon entering the BG website, all the bbq's I was looking at have jumped up in price! Not only is it not a sale to purchase the bbq's, but I would actually be paying more than when this promotion isn't running.
Very disappointed. 😒
Did you mean the Kamado Joe Classic DC that was $999? I bought one of those yesterday, it was normally $1499 and reduced by $500 - looks like it's gone back to normal now but with 20% off
Upset that I missed out on the Kamado Joe Classic D&C yesterday, as I was too busy at work. Went in-store today at Chadstone and asked nicely. Managed to get it for $999. Looking forward to grilling now that the weather is getting much better.
Sorry, I was actually just referring to a select few of my own picks which I had been previously looking at. To state it clearly, I am personally disappointed that the bbq's I was looking at weren't actually discounted. I cannot comment on the Kamado.

The series II is out so it's a superseded model. May be worth noting?
their prices don't really move (sole distributor here and all)
so 20% off is the best it ever gets
and yes, new model has better hinge, top vent, fire box and D&C setup, but its about double that price
I've got the series 2, but thats a huge $ diff and the only big benefit is the D&C setup (that you could buy separate, or knock off versions of from China etc)
