    about time

    • agreed… well the last time was IGA had it half price around 2 months ago… (and it was posted here)

      • Agreed, my spam supply was dwindling dangerously low.

  • I am very due for this. Running low. But no peppercorn? Sadness.

    the chilli is the best

    • is it hot ?

how hot ? between 1 to 5 chilli rating

      • +1

1 - not really that hot.

      • +6

        Depends if you're Asian

    • Only one better than chilli is triple chilli (but I saw a post here a while ago suggesting it was exclusive to Coles?). And yes, in typical Sirena fashion it does indeed come with 3 little chillies in the can, instead of 1

      • which chilli better ?

Sirena Tuna La Vita Lite Chilli 95g

Sirena Tuna In Chilli Oil 95g

The turkey ingredients have an infinite recursion error:

    Turkey Broth (Water, Turkey Broth)

    Thanks OP for Hormel's finest.

  • Just a heads up you can get this tuna branded differently at ALDI for this price every day of the year.

    • +2

It's close, but doesn't quite taste as good.

Think because it's not as salty.

But it's the closest tasting brand.

      • Tastes the same to me!

      • It's the same thing, I know someone who supplies ALDI. It went to "line caught" the exact same time sirena did.

        • It's not the same, they're both yellowfin but taste different.

    • +2

It's not the same, though it is good; just clearly not as good. It's as though the lower grade of tuna and ingredients goes into the ALDI version.

    • Is that all Aldi tuna, or a particular brand?

      • +1

It's the green and yellow can. They have another cheaper tuna that is the same as john west (or just as bad)

  • Been waiting for these to come back on sale for ages!

    Peppercorn is so good.

  • $28.42

I only buy Sirena when it's $10.41 KG.

Last deal I bought 60 185g cans at $2 each.

    • +1

Yeah when the deal for 185g comes back i'll be buying a lot more than I did before. It doesn't come around that often at 50%.
I bought around 40 and it was gone pretty quickly.

      • +1

They don't hit that price as often as they used to.

Were on sale every few months, but the Last couple of years hardly ever.

      • +1

Bought 24 95g cans a few weeks back at KFL when it was on offer ($1.35) and already down to our last few.

        Cheers OP

  • Does anyone know why Woolworths do not stock spicy Spam anymore? I guess I need to wait for next special at Coles.

  • +1

I'm holding out for a half-price offer on the bigger 180 gram cans…C'mon!

  • these were $1 per can before

  • It's time to load up another 40 cans. 10c more than other times though >,<

Anyone having trouble finding Peppercorn in Woolies? Also can't seem to find any Soy & Ginger.

    :(

    • +1

Didn't see any peppercorn or soy&ginger when I was in woolies about 2 hours ago (the shelves for sirena were nearly empty through).

Wife picked up 26 yesterday and we picked up another 20 tonight. Am guessing Coles will have it on specials next week and she will buy more to fill the $60x4 weeks 10k points offer…

      • Coles offer could even dip lower to match the historic $1_price_point again … :D
