  this is indeed a good price,

  Dan murphy's usually sell the 700ml for 270, then it usually goes on sale a couple of times a year for 190,

  so for 1L, this is very good price

  Whilst it is a bargain, you can get much better single malt whiskys for that price or less. JW Blue or not, it is still a blended whisky.

    I do agree. Glenlivet 15 yr old french oak reserve is a very good single malt without a big dent in your pocket.

  nicks have the 18 yr old glenfiddich for 99
  also glen morrangie 18 for about the same
  and the signet is 175
  why oh why would you spend this much on blue label
  dan murphy's have an 18 y/o laphroig for about 110 (hart brothers edition)

  dont know what all the hype about blue label is - yes for a JW its smooth… but its really not that good..
