So i recently bought i ryzen 2700x but i got the first ryzen motherboard. I didn't know that it's not compatible, and thought I could just flash update the bios. I Guessed wrong. I need a first gen ryzen processor to update its bios.
Does anyone any shops that can do bios update?
Or anyone who could lend me a 1st gen ryzen? I'll pay for borrowing it.

mmmm then give them a call on monday. The big shops used to offer the upgrade for a low cost.
i saw mwave,scorptec,pcbyte having hardware upgrades for $30 hopefully they can do with ryzen, thanks for the advice!
Where'd you buy the board from? If possible, contact them asking for help with the bios update. They'll either take the board and do it for you or send you a gen 1 chip to do it yourself (assuming they help).
Alternatively, you could pick up a cheap gen 1 chip then resell it.

…do you have any computer stores around your area? If so give them a look and ask. At worst you'll have to pay a bit, but that's better than a board that can't do stuff.
They have a warehouse at Alexandria so yo should be able to go there for help. The owners a nice person i am sure they will help.
