+1 for the Meizu POP. One of the best purchases I've ever made from Joybuy.

  • Just noticed there is also a further $5 coupon on Meizu POP page that would bring the price down to US$55.

Edit : Never mind, that coupon doesn't seem to work on this item.

    These or xiaomi earbuds?

  • How do these compare to the Jabra Elite 65T?

Can see China is being a copycat again.

    • What did they copy?

  • Compare to apple airpods?

I have the Meizu POP, and can say that in terms of the touch controls they are quite inconsistent. I have checked the WeChat and there have been no firmware updates since the launch one of 1.0.2 back in June, so that's a bummer. There's also the issue of disconnects every so often leading to stutters in music playback, but for the price that can be forgiven.

Despite that, the audio quality on these are quite good. I don't think they would be better than a Jabra, but look at the price you're paying for these earphones.

    • Would you buy them again?

I need new Bluetooth headphones for gym. Tossing up these and cheaper options such as Soundpeats

      • i'm typically a wired earphones guy and have other pairs that are better in sound quality.

but for the convenience of wireless while i am outside cleaning or whatever, then they are quite handy. i found these Meizu earphones better than what i expected for the price, so i would buy again.

  • I've heard that Meizu Pop have latency issue. Might not be good for those sensitive ears.

    • it has a bit but i have mucked around with bluetooth settings on the PowerAmp setting on my android phone so that the lag is barely existent now.

I've been through a few sets of various QCY headphones, including the QCY29. They're great for the price, which was usually $20 - $50, but had issues such as pairing and disconnections.

I recently bought the Jabra 65t for $180 and it's like a breath of fresh air. Super easy pairing, connects every time, and no lag.

If these Meizu are $100, then I'd say it's worth paying that but extra for the Jabra.
