While stocks last? Since when did pizza shops run outa pizza?

    • The "while stocks last" is probably a t&c to protect the company and deal from being ozbargained, and most likley not an issue.

I once went to a KFC and they didnt have any chicken..

      • as someone who worked at KFC for a number of years… yeah that happened way too often. KFC stores are sooo poorly managed. Chicken is expensive, but they tried to skim wherever they could and running out of chicken was typically because they didn't want to over order and have to throw out something.

      • KFC Subiaco?

  • Aren’t their pizza’s like $40 each

      Closer to $20 each

Decent offer. Only tried them once and was extremely average. I should probably give them more than one attempt though.

If you are giving Crust a second chance, try Peri-peri chicken FTW!

I found that Crust has the best pizza among the chain pizza stores and is also priced accordingly.

      • Crust is very good and hard to beat. Have you tried RocketBoy or Doughboy, Made in Italy?

        • Yes had Madeinitaly is quite good. Better than crust. However, is it part of a chain?

Didn’t know till today that there are 6 stores.

          • @Commenter: I call a chain any more than one store. No idea if its a franchise or has the same owner. What is the real defenition of chain?

Give Rocketboy/doughboy a try, its my favourite non wood fired pizza.

      • I found they did have the best pizza among chain pizza stores (which is not saying much, the bar is not high), and that ultimately $25 is not really worth it for one of their pizza's. But this coupon makes it a bit more worthwhile.

    • They are definitely not average. Which pizza did you try? As someone else mentioned it does come down to pizza choice. I also agree Peri peri is very good choice.

And how amazing is the Black Forest Crumble?

    • I'm a fan but it depends which one you go to. When I got it from a (now closed) franchise here in SA it was very average. The closer one was excellent until it closed down too :(

  • Recently moved to an area with a Crust and have had a few of their pizzas now. Excellent toppings-wise but their base is quite different from anything I've had before and that's been a bit off-putting. Can imagine getting used to it, though.

Just wish they had that Movenpick Caramelita in the 900mL tub. They only stock that flavour in a ridiculous little 100mL tub for $5 - definitely a one-off for me.

  • is $40 including delivery?

    • Join the VIPP and its free delivery, plus deals every Friday with free delivery.

The deals are pretty good also.

      • Just signed up to VIPP and still shows delivery fee :(

        • Wow, you are right, it doesnt mention free delivery on the website anymore, and its still free for old VIPP accounts. This must have been a recent change along with some price increases.

  • Doesn't work for me. Says I've already used the code previously, except I haven't ordered crust since they put all the prices up months ago.

      • That would be logical but I ordered from my favourite burger shop instead.

  • Cheers OP, got 2 pizzas down today!

  • Last time i tried them which was a very long time ago, they were alright but i noticed their prices seem a lot more than the dominos etc with the vouchers that is. How much better are their pizzas? Their prices are bordering on gourmet pizza prices.

    • Crust is gourmet pizza. Its difficult to compare the two as they are in different markets.

Where the two differ is the default price of crust delivered is a much better deal and only a slightly higher cost. But when you see the two pizzas, which after going to many meetups over the years and crust and dominos are very common pizzas. Crust is the one that stands out as far superior as dominos does not travel well and tastes terrible, while Crust tastes and looks much better.

The advantage of Dominos is that you can pick up a personal traditional pizza cheaply and it will be ready when they say it will be ready, and seems to taste much better with pick up option.

      • ahh, see i never get delivey, i always get pickup, so maybe thats why my experience of dominos isnt that bad and yes i always personalise it and always use a voucher, so the pizzas are around 7-8$ each and some ingredients have been changed for others.

So crust is considered gourmet pizzas? I didnt realise, i always thought dominos and pizza hut were the budget pizzas then crust was the medium range and then the individual gourmet pizza stores were the high end and then i saw the prices and i realised crust seems to have similar pricing to gourmet pizzas.

Interested in trying out out now, i notice they have something on the menu called upper crusts which is a different shaped pizza looks like, is the base still similar to the circular pizzas they have? Was looking at getting the peking duck pizza.

        • Crust is not gourmet by my standards, it's just a less shitty version of Dominos to my taste buds, so in my opinion the price is not warranted, even after this coupon, it would only be worth it if you have a rather exceptional Crust near you.
