I’m considering buying my wedding favours from this website Alibaba.com.com (agate slice drink coasters)
I just wanted to know if anyone has had experience with ordering from this site and anything to watch out for.

I've purchased plenty of times from its retail cousin AliExpress. Some items can take up to 8 weeks to arrive but never had an issue.
AliBaba tends to require huge qty as min purchase but otherwise I don't foresee any issues.I've emailed AliBaba vendors previously and have found their English fairly good.
Mostly just beware of shipping times - they can be long.
If you're looking for a once off bulk buy then, as others have said, aliexpress is the better option.
I did this for our wedding and things I learnt from it:
- Give yourself plenty of time
- With the extra time, ask them to send you samples, even if you have to pay for it. I ended up receiving cheaper knock offs which weren't the same as pictured, unfortunately I didn't have enough time to dispute and resolve, and just had to use what I had for the wedding bomboniere. Guest seemed fine with them though.I buy a lot of stuff from aliexpress (alibaba's retail sibling)

Aliexpress is more user friendly, as:
-Prices per item + shipping are known without having to enquire
-Product description is provided (fairly accurate)
-Easy for buyer to compare prices between different usersAlso, keep in mind that you may have to pay international transaction fees (dependent on your payment method).
Don't forget to activate cashrewards as well.

alibaba is b2b. forget it unless you intend to meet the moq.
'Wedding favours'? Sounds a bit saucy.
