If your PC can handle it, and you have the required space in your home, I would recommend. No regrets purchasing mine second hand for $700. Will be even cheaper now.
That's really interesting, I've found most people that have bought one regret it (even with a capable PC and at a lower price point). What games do you have and recommend?

Unlike xbox or PS4 subscription, you don't keep/own any game. You can choose a fixed number of game each month to play.
Its less like the Gold/Plus subscriptions and more along the lines of the Xbox Game Pass or the EA one (whatever thats called now days).
I got the 3 month sub. Wow, Viveport is a hot mess.
Horrendously buggy and resource hungry. Was using like 2GB of ram and 30% CPU just idling.
I think I'll just take my Fallout 4 VR Steam key and uninstall Viveport. One of the worst pieces of software I've seen in a while.
I want a HTC Vive so badly but simply cannot justify purchasing one for any more than $600 :(
