Yeah! it shows as 10th December, there was no vouchers before in the voucher part of the app

They didn't have scanners at this outlet (Melbourne airport). Have used it 2 times before at the same location (showing them the phone was fine) but this time I got a flat "no, you can only use the paper vouchers" - i.e. the ones that get sent out every 3 months or so.
so in this case - PHONE WAS NOT FINE!!!!! LOL.
Tried to use vouchers in Gold Coast airport start of the year and they flat out refused to accept them. Maybe it's just an airport thing.

It's not a way to fix what happened, but try asking a physical copy when you're at your next HJ visit if they're not too busy
From what I know though, Airport franchises don't take vouchers and I can see why
@Cluelessly: Just to be clear, the only vouchers they refused at the Melbourne Airport Hungry Jacks (Landside inbetween T1 and T2 - not to be confused with HJ's in the T1 food court (I have used the usual paper vouchers there in the past) or the T2 international airside HJ's) were the ones in the hungry jacks app.
I have never had a problem redeeming the vouchers that you can print off or show on your phone at Melbourne Airport (the Big A4 sized pages with multiple vouchers on them). When I was refused the voucher in the app last week the person serving me pulled out the paper vouchers from under the counter and said I was fine to have anything from the usual list.
Ive never seen any coupons in the HJ app and I never get emails from them :(
Paper vouchers are superior value.
