So tired of clarifying this answer… eBay always directs users to post on ozbargain.
Wait a week and then open a inr.
I wouldn't panic yet, give them a couple of days more. Some people are really slow
I recently sold a phone via eBay, and I was unable to touch the funds until delivery was confirmed and the buyer left feedback.
Your best chance is to open a case.Yea.. hate paypal for this.. dictatorship.
Try ebay tchat! Quick and easy! They do some mistakes but at the end they will solve your issue.
2 days? Have some patience. What's their handling time? Not everyone posts things the next day.
Check the handling times in the item. If the item was supposed to have been posted in one day then you need to wait for it to arrive. Then you need to go by the expected arrival date. If it does not arrive during the expected date then you may open a case. You can ask eBay via chat to help you open a case or you can just open one under the item’s options.
When paying you should always pay using paypal and your credit card as the payment method. Worst case scenario if it doesn’t arrive and Paypal or eBay can’t or won’t help then you can file a chargeback with your credit card provider and often there is not much paypal or eBay can do and you 99.99% of the time will get your money back in cases of items not received.
How many days does it say to allow for handling time?
It's an adjustable amount, maximum is 3 business days.
It'll be on the item listing.says 2 days, sorry for sounding impatient. first time using it
What til Monday lad. If you paid thrkigh paypal ask open a case or contact ebay. They should help ya
Communication, or the lack of it, is often the biggest problem in these issues. Most people grumble about delays, but live with them, but it escalates when the person isn’t communicating. Suddenly you wonder have you been ripped off. If you are a seller, and there is a delay, then lay it out and set a realistic date. Keep communication channels open. If you are a buyer use credit cards, as the Banks may cancel the transaction for non delivery, and allow a few days before getting agitated.
Give the seller some credit. It's only been 2 business days. Probably shipped it on Thursday. Will take at least Tuesday to get to you.
Whenever I buy from eBay I give the seller 7 days before I get worried.
yeah, so sorted now. they messages on saturday saying they were busy and sent it then. should come soon
