Consumer affairs ministers have agreed to change the wording of Australian Consumer Law so that it is clear that if you buy a product and it continuously breaks, you can get a refund instead of multiple repairs.
Not much detail at the moment, but a win for consumers no doubt.

Good. It's technically already in the current ACL - but it's good to clarify that multiple minor defects, or multiple instances of the same minor defect, (which entitles the consumer to a refund instead of just a repair) can constitute a major defect (which entitles the consumer to a refund).
