Recommendation on a Set of Cheap 2.1 Speakers for Laptop

I am looking forward to buy a set of cheap 2.1 speakers for laptop to increase the fidality. I have a limited budget and found below options

Creative A250 for $37 at MSY
Logitech Z213 for $28 at TGG with 20% ebay deal
Edifier M1360 for $45

I would like to have your experience on these to select which one is the best bang for bucks. Is there any other options available in the same price range?

Z213 are horrible. I purchased them on Saturday at Officeworks. I understand that their budget speakers, but they couldn't even compare to my iMac standard speakers or my very old laptop speakers. The next day they became faulty, would keep making random tapping noises, even when the AUX was not plugged in and volumes and BASS was turned off. Would not recommend. They were $26, you can try them for yourself and refund them with 'change of mind' policy within 7 days.

    • Oopz is it that bad :(

Yeah they really are. I would really rather invest a bit more and get some decent speakers, you won't regret it. But then again comes down to the purpose of use. These speakers are ok for maybe like your kids with cheap laptops/tablets and watch to watch stuff like youtube with speakers.

        • Oopzz! Did you get any other model then?

          • @bazingaa: Yeah I ended up getting 5.1 though Logitech Z506 which is out of your budget range.

  • Thanks guys, finally got settled for Creative A250
