Looking at buying a new phone around 500-650 budget. Seems like the Nokia 7 plus is pretty highly regarded.
I am looking at the Nokia 8 pricing $548 vs 7 plus $647 @ officeworks. Can someone elxplain why 7 plus is more expensive, seems like 8 has a better processor, 4g ram on both phone and similar camer. 7 plus is bigger is that why?
Nokia 7 Plus Vs Nokia 8

The N8 has been superceded by the N8 Sirocco, which probably explains the price drop.
7+ has android one and 8 doesn't im pretty sure so you'd get unlimited google photos for however long (i would guess ~3 years if it works the same as pixel 2/3). It's also newer and therefore will have a few more months updates ahead of it. And yeah bigger battery, mid-upper tier chip might make the battery go further too.
No unlimited Google Photos on the Nokia 7 Plus. Only on Pixel phones.
woops haha.. heard it off one guy on youtube, yeah that's right only pixel. https://www.android.com/one/ The android one page threw me off (it's true but reinforced the wrong idea haha).
Doesn't installing Google Photos on any phone get you unlimited google photos? (i did and have).
@nessism: yeah but they advertise it on their android one page (linked above). Which led to the chain of confusion above hahaha..
Nokia 7 plus is $400 at eglobal. Anyone have experience with these guys? What are the chances of needing warranty on this phone? It's $599 at jb but has local warranty.
Yeah I tried 3 different stores with the Nokia 8 but no luck. They said its dual sim vs single sim Aussie stock
Nokia 7+ has a better camera, bigger screen and bigger battery. Other that that the Nokia 8 has a better chipset. There's other differences such as front or back fingerprint scanner that's a matter of opinion…
