Small Business Owner - Looking for Accountant Recommendations

Hi All,

Long time lurker first time posting. I am looking for recommendations for an accountant in Melbourne preferably in the North. We are looking to build a long-term relationship with the right person and would love some recommendations!

    The large accounting firms are probably the worst for a small business. Accountants I know who've worked for Findex say there is serious attrition among senior staff as unlike other accounting practices they have to divvy up their profits with shareholders.

    I'd recommend a sole practitioner or smaller firm - in most cases you'll get better service at a better price. Most likely you'll be able to work with the same person for many years.
