  • Physical is standalone, don't need the base game to play.

Don't know why a power user added that it's required.

      My bad, fixed it.

To anyone who's played it how long is it? I assume this also doesn't include the base game?
Also has anyone here price matched at EB (JB only typically allows within the same suburb or shopping complex) online retailers? This doesn't strictly apply to this game but more of a general query.

I haven't played it yet. I only just ordered it when I posted the deal. Doesn't include the base game.
I priced matched at JB with pokemon last time. It was being sold by HN in a different suburb and they only needed to look up the online catalog to confirm.
I've had opposite experience with EB on two occasions where they told me no price matching from a shop in a different suburb.

amazon's price is also 44 bucks. just add another 5 bucks you will get free shipping and 10 % off from CR.

  • I know some of the content is digital.. Does it amount to much? I'm wondering on the resale of this game when I finish it. Otherwise I will just buy the expansion pass off the eshop

    • I wouldn't know how much the digital content costs, haven't checked.
But for what it's worth, I bought this even though I'm 1/3 of the way through the original and wont be getting around to it for a few months. Reason being, I was looking around for second hand games (like all the marios, zelda, splatoon, octopath etc.) off gumtree and ebay, and it's difficult to get a clean second hand copy for $15-$20 less than what's being sold at retailers.
I don't know why resale value for big-publisher switch games is so high
