There are some differences with Tom and Jerrys ice cream.
Its made in the USA, they are/were supporting a good cause. You also get Ben and Jerrys free cone day once a year.
Tom and Jerrys ice cream
🤔
Just checking to see who is awake
It's not about the taste as taste is subjective. It's about what's in it.
Cheap "ice cream" will use milk powder, water, vegetable oil, emulsifiers and thickeners. Premium one will use fresh cream and milk instead. Both products will look and taste just about the same even though production cost of the first one is fraction of the second one.
if both taste and look the same, why would you go with the more expensive option?
For the same reason people pay premium to buy real honey over cheaper fake one.
I went there today thinking the same and got something else instead at the end lol
It annoys me that they call their ice cream random names that doesn't describe the actual flavour at all.
Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream The Tonight Dough Starring Jimmy Fallon 458ml tub
WTF is that?!
Its the best thing you will ever taste that's what. Its a cross between choc chip cookie dough and peanut butter chocolate
It also annoys me that they have 30+ flavours but they're all really similar.
The one in the picture here says "chocolate fudge brownie".
it annoys me the picture shows the cup overflowing with ice cream, but the real product you get about 1-2cm under the rim.
Would ACCC take that as false advertising?
Instead of taking it to ACCC, ask Ben and Jerrys staff to make it look like the pic, and tell them to fill it as per the pic, and if they cant or make excuses, then that can go to ACCC if you are a complainer.
Can anyone comment on the new ben and jerry's cookie ice creams?
Sure :)
Tried them back in the UK, and while they were alright, I prefer their ice cream…
Had the Coconut Seven Layer Bar dairy free (vegan?) version of this the other day. OMG, it actually tastes AMAZING! And I hate coconut/soy ice-cream with a passion. Highly recommend for any other lactards out there like me.
Yes vegan, and yes good.
Best also try the peanut butter and cookies then.
My wife is lactose intolerant and she swears this is the best dairy free ice cream she has ever had…
Neg vote as I have a major issue with the retailer.
B&J just released an anti-Trump ice cream in the US. I don't agree with their sentiment.
Is this an appropriate neg? Please delete comment if mods determine it is against rules.
I think the comment is valid, the neg isn't.
B&J is super leftist and regularly politicize themselves. They even had a flavour embargo in their shop when the whole same sex marriage thing.
I wonder if the proceeds of their sales was as socialist as their campaigns.
The retailer is Woolworths.
Oh wow, I thought that was fake. They made a "Resist" flavoured icecream. That's pretty low.
Not stoked about spending $11 on the pint slices the other night. They are damn good though…
Love Ben & Jerry's go - Vermont
Man, I ate too much of this when living in UK recently, was always on sale for 2.50 quid. $9 is still a bit hard to swallow.
Lol - Tell me about it! I was studying in the UK for a couple of years, and the amount of Ben and Jerry's I ate there… :)
Can't bring myself to fork out even $9 for a tub here. I managed to once get a tub on Clearance for £1.30!
Yeah $9 is steep, I’ve been getting the conessier tubs when they’re half price.
1.30 man, what a steal.
usually $12 for 485ml…?!
hype right? …it cant be that good?
