Basically trying to find the best place to go sign up to telstra for their 49 or 59 cap, Im moving from vodafone. Telstra online offers 3 months free on the 59 cap. Ive looked at JB Hifi and a few other telstra dealers and seen no comparable deals. Does anyone know of any others around?
If you port your number from another Telco, you get a $200 welcome credit, to get this credit you need to apply to Telstra over the phone.
I ported a pre paid to Telstra on the $49 cap, got $200 welcome credit, iPhone 4 for $149 (covered by the welcome credit) and have the $49 cap for $44 due to data special deal which includes 1Gb a month, and couldnt be happier with the network, iPhone and pricing.
EDIT: ill just add, that some people have been able to get $300 welcome credit, but it depends on who you speak to.
