        You clearly don't understand. The $40 a month is not part of the deal, it's a normal service cost. Normally you pay $40 a month and don't get anything at all. With this coupon you also get unlimited FREE calls. Make sense?… cough

    personally I believe the Pennytel's $18.88 plan (although not identical to spoxy's offering) would be a cheaper proposition for most people…. leaving the $21.12 difference to fund additional calls.

    Damn expensive for a VOIP service when you can get US for free why would you pay $30 /month ?
    On good side there is an option to make a free call 3 times a day for duration of 10 minutes each, thats the bargain - not the calling rates.
    Btw I have US number, receive and make, calls to and from US & Canada on my iphone and desire hd - for most affordable price, FREE

      Oh WOW!

      They want you to work 16 hours a week unpaid for 13 weeks for "training" (that's over 3 months!!) and then on top of that cough up $4700 of your own money for training.

      We have to pay $4700 for training. Do 3 months live projects and not get paid, with a guaranteed job at the end. Sounds good. But the contract has an escape clause. They don't have to hire us at the end of the 3 months if there's a "Global Economic Crisis". Well, that's what we're in now. So, legally they could not hire us after all that. We don't get paid, we lose $4700 and no job. It's too risky. And this is all if they are honest.

      I went there for interview too(in melb)..I was told that if I do well in the interview I wud land up in a job immediately, else I have to do the training. The next interviewer asked my professional background and immediately after that recommended me to go for the training… no tech ques asked ..no HR ques asked…I complained to the first interviewer(the 2 interviewers were in different rooms) that why was I told to go for training though they have not tested my tech knowledge at all…after no satisfactory answer , I left the place as I felt that they are just to make money..their websites are down most of the time..now happy to see the comments frm u guys…really some people are out there to take advantage of the job crunch situation ( especially new graduates who want to break into their field) and make money !!

      stay away from these scammers, I went for a supposed interview as I was curious. I'm not an IT grad, rather an experienced professional. So they got greedy and thought they should speak to me believing I could easily afford their scam fee.
      Nonetheless, I've reported them to the ACCC and scamwatch.com.au and are on the case now. These people need to dissappear. They're from India btw, not the US as they lead you to believe.

      best to stay away from this scam company!

    Hi Power revolution, its good to hear from you, who interviewed you? I worked them for 5 months, no pay , my tittle was an IT Team lead, and job was training the new guys :) without getting paid, how stupid was I am, hoping it will workout one day as there is some experianced guys and we worked very hard, but this crook darley spoil everything, he just want the training fees, nothing else, no business

    Oz bargain administrators.. please do not delete this thread as people has to know about this scammers and that way they wont loose there money.

    By the way http://www.smartvoip.com/en/index.html is a good voip service and i been using them for 2-3 years now. I am not a rep, its my personnel opinion

      Court finds Zanok Technologies, directors misled foreign IT job seekers
      Foreign students and IT graduates who paid for an IT course conducted by Zanok Technologies Pty Ltd were misled and deceived about the course and exploited by unconscionable conduct, the Federal Court has declared.
      In an Australian Competition and Consumer Commission initiated action, the court found Zanok, Darley Stephen and Vanitha Darley, both Indian nationals residing in Australia, had engaged in misleading and deceptive and unconscionable conduct toward the students and graduates.
      The ACCC alleged that Zanok had put job advertisements on various websites including MyCareer, Seek and Gumtree, offering various IT positions, when Zanok was not offering job opportunities but rather "IT training" for which applicants must pay up to $4,700.
      The ACCC alleged that despite assurances from Zanok and its agents, there was no guarantee of a job at the end of the training. The ACCC also alleged that the training was unstructured, disorganised and of no value.

    They did this scamm through a registered recruiter called "area" or something. The court case a took a few months on that time they close down there office and went in dark. So we couldn't get our money back, and there was no step from the ACCC, court or australian govt to get our money back or put in the jail.

    Accc and court just concluded they are scam, no steps after that? whats the point I spend my days to give them all the details and mails , at the end I got a mail from ACCC saying court found them as guilty thats it. End of the story, they started again now… He doesnt even have a Permanent residency, they are in business visa and doing this scam to australians

    I have all their details, mails, contracts everything I passed to ACCC and nothing much happened. All they did is filed the case and found them as a scam. Around 80+ people paid the money , 60+ in melbourne and 25+ in sydney. Just imaging how much they make out of it.

    I am really sorry about that, I couldn't control my self. But they deserve that. Just want the oz-bargainers get to know there names and what they do with people. Also I been looking for these scammers for the past 1.5 year without any news about them, they stayed in dark after the incident, and just want to pass them the message from us.
