Funny, their ausgrid rates which I thought standard are higher than what I pay with EA. So 30% off is still a bit cheaper, but ergh
Stay away from anything delivered by One Big Switch and promoted by their mates at Choice magazine. 30% off is BS.

seems like just 3% from their standard 27% off.
seems like just 3% from their standard 27% off.
Showing 43% off for me…

You are in Victoria.
Why? Can you find a better one than this?
Choice are absolute hypocrites. They slam banks for late fees then they align themselves with these kind of deals from One Big Switch (set up by Choice staff).
30% off what? 30% off what you would pay if you pay late. That is not a discount, it is a late fee spun around. It is BS.
How do you create a bigger "discount" percentage than your competitors? Just increase what the late penalty is then "discount" it for paying on time. BS BS BS BS.
A 30% discount is actually a 40% late fee. 40 freakin %. That is absolutely criminal for being as little as one day late on your payment.
Another thing, Choice have been going after commissions in various industries for years, then what do they do? They take commissions from One Big Switch.
Well said and I totally agree with you the discount thing is a gimmick. However, now we have no better option than play the game with them and find the best one for ourselves.
The actual price fact sheet is here. https://s3-ap-southeast-1.amazonaws.com/onebigswitch/rate_ta…
Doesn't beat Click Mercury for my usage, hard to beat 40% off the daily charge with any deal (such as this) that doesn't include the daily charge in the discount. Country NSW daily charge is a killer!
Incorrect. There are 3 db zones. Ausgrid is only 1 of those zones.
Not sure what you're saying is incorrect, there's more than one provider on that pdf if you scroll down.
I think click mercury is not available now. The latest one in NSW is 35% discount if no solar and 11% discount with solar. ( https://www.clickenergy.com.au/shiny-2018 )
I just called them, said they weren't competitive on my current plan and could they do better and was moved to mercury effective immediately. That was 6 months ago or so.
Had anyone seen any good deals in Qld lately? Currently with click and prices have gone up significantly, need to switch
You can check on www.energymadeeasy.gov.au.
One big Switch offers 28% discount with solar feed-in of 11 cents and $25 bonus. I'm not sure whether that is the best deal for you.
30% off which rate ??
