It is off eBay so I can't guarantee that it's genuine, but the plus-side is that it's off eBay so paying by PayPal and if it's not genuine, you can make a claim so it's pretty much no-risk, especially when "genuine" and "official" is plastered all over the product page - they can't get away with passing off a knock-off.

I will never understand the desire to spend $50+ on a silicon case, just because it has a feint Apple logo printed on the back. This is the same case that you, as a consumer, can buy in 10 packs for $1 each. I sort of understand people wanting the “premium” experience with the leather cases from Apple but, again, there are much cheaper options elsewhere. It’s not like these cases have any kind of technology in them (like a Tech21 for example) which isn’t as effective in the cheaper variations.
On that note, I would highly recommend a case like a Tech21. The back glass on X/XR/XS models can’t be replaced without replacing the entire phone (barring the display). So any crack in the back or the front will be pushing $500. Getting a decent case is imperative; it only takes that one drop.
What do you mean by genuine? As in manufactured by apple? And why genuine?
