      Had it today. I thought it was terrible. Tasted like cheap vanilla essence, glucose syrup and skim milk. After that flavour I will reassess buying connoisseur again. Close to inedible.

      Choc brownie or salted caramel were so much better. Wish I had bought those.

        I actually think their found round of flavours they initially released were the 'must haves' and the newer ones were just the 'meh' ones during testing.

        Yeah, it was disappointing. Not much of a green tea fan, definitely not a beans-as-dessert fan, but this stuff (I think, or something very similar from them) was amazing in Japan a few years ago. Been a Connoisseur fan for a decade now but their green tea was all fail.

      Something about connoisseur that lets me spend twice as much and more for pretty much same ingredients and maybe flavour I dunno it just tastes better somehow.

      That's terrible. If you've gotta have it, then use it to replace a meal rather than add it as a dessert. Also, add something with fibre like psyllium husk (preferred) or oat bran (cheap).

          Fibre will make you shit easier but it wont just 'shit' out the fat it will cause you to gain. Your best bet is it have it with protein - your body knows how to digest protein + carbs + fats, but it can't digest only carbs + fats (icecream).

    Luckily/unluckily with a small child around there is literally insufficient room in the freezer for a 1L of icecream here.

    I suppose I could just smash a cafe grande in a sitting though…

      The Derwent Valley Raspberry With White Chocolate is pretty good.

      It's ok. Lots of dessicated coconut though, gets in your teeth, which I find annoying whilst eating ice cream. Strong coconut flavour, chocolate fudge bits arent bad either.

      Cafe grande is better, lol.
