Xiaomi T1 Touchless Automatic Motion Sensor Trash Can with Builtin Light - WHITE AU $122 Delivered @ Gearbest

60
GB-HGTAT7

Xiaomi is at it again.

According to one review:

“The device comes with a smart sensor which detects the human hand or other approaching objects within a distance of 0-35cm. When it senses an object, the lid swings open and so you won’t need to touch it at all or even bend over. The smart trash bin can also automatically package the waste when it is full. It can also automatically replace the waste bag when the old one is removed. In terms of dimension, it is 40cm high, weighs 3.5kg and has a 15.5L capacity with a beige appearance.”

According to a more informative review:

“I bought for my daughter. Help her develop a good habit”

Solid review, Mike 😳

Enjoy :)

Good to see they didn’t call it “smart”. It’s too expensive for my trash anyway, will pass.

      I like your thinking….

  • I like these for hygiene, not having to touch a dirty bin, however, Costco has a stainless steel one for ~60-70 I think, more attractive and cheaper.

    • The smart trash bin can also automatically package the waste when it is full. It can also automatically replace the waste bag when the old one is removed.

can the costco one do that?

  • +2

    Looks very small

  • Is this one alexa and google controlled?

once you go Simplehuman, every other bin will suck

    • Do you have the sensor or manual?

I'm tempted to splurge on one but a little bit hesitant on adding more electronics.
