Netflix Credit for Existing Account

I don't have access to iTunes or anything apple related.

Looking to restock some netflix credit on an already existing account.

What is the safest and best/cheapest way without gambling on strangers to get loyalty discount promo codes or something.

Looking to purchase maybe $100-200 worth of netflix credit to put on my account.

Pay by the month directly? The monthly amount is small and the discounts I've seen aren't really worth paying a year or so upfront.

    • That is my last resort mainly asking if there are any known discounts on gift cards or something somewhere. It seems woolworths have something with the $50 Netflix gift cards receive 1000 points which I think equates to $10 woolworths dollars so I might buy some there and get between $20-40 woolworths dollars credit also in the meantime if my calculations are correct (no idea tbh still sometimes blue the rewards card work like if it has a points cap or something)

      • 1000 points is $5 Woolworths Rewards dollars, not $10 and you can only redeem in lots of $10.

        • Yeah sorry was updating comment after reading some new news.

It seems woolworths have something with the $50 Netflix gift cards which is buy one and receive 1000 woolworths rewards points which equates to $5 woolworths dollars so I might buy some at wholesale and get between $10-30 woolworths dollars depending on how much Netflix future subscription I decide I need.

Also just read and found out that the points have no cap limit but expire 18 months from the last time they were used so 1.5 year expiry date basically I think.

          • @AlienC: At this stage, CashRewards —> Woolies Discount EGift Cards —> Points promotions like this.

So for the values you're talking about $100 egift card = $95 (5% off), purchase 2x $50 netflix cards for 2000 bonus points ($10 worth of points). All up, assuming you get ~$110* worth of value for $95.

It may have changed and you can no longer get giftcards using egifts, but that is what I have done in the past.

*Technically I'd say $109.50 in value, as you would only pay $9.50 for a normal $10 spend at woolies with egift cards.

Best of luck whatever you chose to do.

  • Split it with 5 mates each month ?

Split it with your partner ?

    • Going by his comment history, he seems to have neither

      • Yeah this one is a present I do just for family. So I pay for it and then just share the account with the others which is not much considering how much they have given me over the years.

Might get Stan too if I can gleam some interest from the others but it seems to be mostly older titles and reruns series.

Giftcards stack….. Just redeem each one in the account and the balance keeps increasing.

  • +1

Cheaper to stock up on these, eg, 50% off Vs approx 10% off.
