Best Time to Buy GTX 1070 Laptop?

I'm thinking of getting a 1070 laptop
A list of my Choices:
Aero 15x $2600 at ebay
MSI GS65 3000 at ebay
ROG ZEPHYRUS M $3300 at scorptec

any recommendation? best bang for the buck laptop among these 3?

issue is sale only last until wednesday because of PAX

Im new in Australia i don't know much about the sales but i heard there is black friday sales and boxing day after Christmas. should i just wait for those days?
Are deals on gaming laptop go on sale on those days?

    We don't generally have massive black friday or boxing dale sales.
    Have you considered Alienware? 7th Gen intel Cores Cost $2498.99 or 8th Gen from $2698.99?
    Another is MetaBox Prime-S from eBay at $2619

    What else are you looking for other than having a GTX1070 (and I assume 15in)?

    Honestly never ok maybe boxing day sales aka days after Christmas sometimes we follow U.S. shopping days but honestly not that much.

    The price premium of $1000 from a GTX 1060 to a 1070 is ridiculous are you sure you can't desktop?

    $1500 GTX 1060 laptops are everywhere sometimes even much cheaper but sub $2400 GTX 1070 laptops are rare these days and no idea why.

    If you really want a good discount go to www.gumtree.com.au or try this sites classifieds might get lucky - gumtree is basically Australian version of craigslist or really sketchy and unmoderated classifieds and they are also owned by eBay fwiw.

      If you want cheaper and considering not new, theres plenty of refurbished 1070 laptops on eBay. Some even include warranty, much better then risking Gumtree. Theres also Dell Outlet if you're interested in Alienwares.

        ^ this guys knows what's up that link has the latest deals on 1070 laptop refurbs and yeah gumtree is a huge risk not not akin to spending it at the pokies.

          Was searching for a GTX1070 laptop a while back. Found that eBay had the best prices especially after discounts.
          Ended up with refurb Asus ROG GL502VS. Just remember to check feedback and read description when buying off eBay.

            @FireRunner: Part of me always wants to risk it all and gamble on gumtree even though I know that can be a very bad idea (from others and personal experience) but yeah options like ebay are great if you can find the deals.

            US market was great a year or so ago or maybe not even that far back even for anything above a 1070 mainly the 1080 market.

            Lots of crazy 64gb ram 4k resolution GTX 1080 i7-7700HQ cpu 2TB ssd beast laptops for around $3300 AUD delivered.. just would have to replace the transformer power pack and plug or get a travel adapter.

            Found a $2000 AUD beast 1070 laptop around that time but decided to go local and desktop for now since I wanted a bigger screen and a desktop at the time.

            Looking back now now that I have a pc I really want that laptop haha lol.. man the grass is greener on the otherside.

            Only gripe was I don't think the keyboard was fully rgb just one colour or glow effect silly reason I know that and I had the idea that laptop speakers would be bad vs proper external speaker setup.. which honestly it would be near kind of the same but I am happy with my current desktop configuration.

            More expandability in a desktop also but I got a HP Elite 8200 sff case so that argument goes right out the window hehe lol.

            Ultimately having both would be awesome but yeah you gotta sometimes just pick one especially if you are not 100% sure what you wanna do with it atm besides gaming and casual browsing / media consumption.

    I know a few years ago, it was more profitable to fly to USA and enjoy a nice holiday and come back with a Gaming Laptop (which the savings subsidised the airfares). Not sure if this is still a viable option anymore. Maybe it is, if you also get some dental/surgery or other goods and services.

    Do you really need a laptop? A 1070 desktop could be had for ~$1k less.

    Thanks for the opinion guys. Yeah i decided to go for a desktop instead since even if i got a loptop would still plug a monitor and a keyboard lol. was just really interested with the portability.but found my ideal pc case which is the Inwin A1 which is just a tiny case. since my budget is pretty big. can you guys check out my desktop build plan. not going all out on the cpu because will still buy a 144hz montior

    Check ebay. If you can find a seller with a good 1070 system running the potplant deal you're set.
