Saw that this is launching on Nov 13th and thought I'd look around.

Did you actually look around? It's $49 at jb: https://www.jbhifi.com.au/playstation-4/spyro-reignited-tril…

    • Not free delivery though through JB - good if you are after pickup

Same price everywhere. Not really a bargain.

    • +3

True, but at least the 10% back on Cashrewards is something I guess.

      • 11% back plus free $10 for signing the gf up to cash rewards. Great price

As tempted as I am, I feel its price will decline kinda rapidly and there is a lot else to play

    • +4

Yeah if you've already waited 20 years a bit longer won't hurt.

There's been plenty of deals on Crash's remaster, but for the most part it's not really dropped below 40 too often, and it's got 2 years or so, or at least a year and a half, time flies.

Anyway, point is, I don't think it will end up being super cheap any time soon, but if it turns out that 2 and 3 are on a separate disc, I'll give you 30 for that disc and boom, you've got an HD Spyro game for 20 bucks.

      • I was thinking that too but I feel Crash is a lot more popular than Spryo and Crash did sell really really well, so no real need for a discount. Worst case I get it at this price in a month or two imo.

Be aware 2/3 of the game are NOT on the disc, so there goes resale value:

        https://www.spyrothedragon.com/

*Games 2 and 3 require download via internet.

Also Crash has cooler ads: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mTi5EaocGaY

You're hurting my elbow. Also Bandicoot is an Australian name.

        • Thanks for the heads about 2/3 of the games having to be downloaded.

What’s the point of the disc then?

        • I couldn't see anything about the two games requiring a code to be redeemed. In fact the article you linked said the games would be downloaded in the form of an update. Why do you say it will won't have any resale value?

        • +1

No you don't need to download 2 and 3, suppose to be released in September but a lot of people complained saying you need to download 2 and 3, that's why the game got delayed to November.

          • @Thomas C: Yes you will have to download games 2-3, have a look at the game's site: https://www.spyrothedragon.com/

*Games 2 and 3 require download via internet.

@mekktor, once you have the DLC (if its a code and not free to get when you pop in the disc), ie you get two codes with the game (one for Spyro 2 and one for Spyro 3), your games will be attached to your PSN/XBL ID and when you sell it, all you can sell is Sypro 1.

            • @Sanvy: Will have to wait until November 13, if they put all games on disc, which i hope they do. Other than that it's pointless to have only Spyro 1 and not worth the money.

Got it for $34 delivered with the Amazon deal a week or so ago. This isn't a deal, it's RRP.

    • -3

      RRP is $79.95.

      • RRP is $69.95.

        • +1

          Yep, $69.95, my bad.

          • @aja12: Actually, we're both right. I was just having a squizz on the eShop and the game is up for preorder now, and it's 80, so, yay?

  • +1

Paid $34 from the $15 promo, good buy

  • Can now get this for $46.80 at Big W when applying the code FF10 at checkout
