Sony WI-1000X Wireless Noise-Cancelling Neckband Earphones (Black), $305 Delivered @ Appliances Online

70

For those who aren't a fan of the over-ear Sony WH-1000XM3 headphones, here is an alternative in-ear neckband design from Sony that is part of the 1000X family and shares almost all of the features of the XM3.

They have been getting very good reviews:

The gold colour is $338 (https://www.appliancesonline.com.au/sony-wi1000xn-1000x-wire…)

For comparison, other places are selling AU stock for $349 (Addicted to Audio), $376 (Videopro).

The moment you think that the MX3s have dropped to $300

    • I think we all felt that for a second haha

It makes more sense to pony up the extra $50 for the comfort alone.

I had my cc out already but then, oh not that one…

It's easy to dismiss these invalidly when everyone is so hyped over the MX3s.

I have these and qc35s. I wouldn't hesitate to use the qc35s on flights, I longer situations where is was wearing them for a while, and in a whole lot of other scenarios but I use these 1000Xs everyday on my 20 minute bus commute and I can wear them all day dangling around my neck in the office. Majority of the time when I'm talking, taking calls they're out, but when I need to sit and close the world out I can just put the buds in and I'm in a peaceful place. They come with lots of buds that make for a comfortable fit for any ear size. And in or out of aircon, they never make my ears warm.

I have no regret at all having these as well as my qc35s. If I didn't have qc35s I would likely have MX3s and these. They complement each other.
