Some great bundles/deals to be had.

You will get an extra 15% off Halloween sale games. This does not apply to bundles. However, any featured 12 or 24 hour deals come with a free game and a 15% off voucher for Halloween Bundles so to minimise costs it might be worthwhile buying a sale game you want first, and then buying the bundle you want.

**Note: all bundles get you one free mystery game

  • Is GMG the same as steam?

    • They sell Steam keys.

For this post "Steam" denotes which DRM world (as opposed to Origin, uPlay or DRM-free) and GMG is the store you buy the keys to redeem on your Steam account from.

      • Ahhh ok I had no idea as I don’t game much on my Mac

        • +1

GMG is a key reseller. They sell game keys for various platforms and run discounts that are sometimes better than steam. They're also legit as opposed to other key resellers/marketplaces like Kinguin and G2A which have been caught doing shifty shit

          That's because it's a Mac :)

  • It is possible to use a VPN for cheaper prices on some games sold on Greenman. I have successfully used a British VPN point a few months ago. Brazil, China, Turkey, Russia seem to be the cheapest, but it varies by game and publisher it seems (I was looking at the regional information on IsThereAnyDeal). Some regional games require a VPN to activate though, and some even a VPN to play (like recent Call of Duty games).

I used to purchase games, when on sale, from Nuuvem at Brazilian prices, but my Virtual Credit Card service (Entropay) is now available to non-Europeans. Using a VPN to activate games on Steam or UPlay hasn't caused any problems for me.

In conclusion, using a VPN is somewhat risky, and I would only recommend the hassle for poor Australians (students, retirees, welfare recipients, minimum wagers, part time workers).
