Can anyone, who booked the complementary Virgin Flight from ANZ Travel Adventure credit card confirm if they received status credits with the booking?
I read somewhere that with this flight you may, even though normally complementary flights don't earn any status credits.

Yes, I booked SYD-HBA return last year.
Got 512 points plus 5 status credits for each leg.
The receipt for the complimentary flight that comes through the ANZ travel agency contains a dollar value for the flight, unlike the classic rewards flights which doesn't.
What! This is excellent, I thought it would be classified as a reward booking for sure.
Received Status and points, and was also given the option to bid for an upgrade with points or cash

The complimentary flight is not eligible for Velocity Points and/or Status Credits earn.
If you somehow did you're lucky!
Can also confirm that both Velocity Points and Status Credits were earnt from a recent trip.
