Hey guys, got a bit of an annoying issue. So I have wireless headphones and earphones, etc, and they're all good. But sometimes I just want to do something really quickly where a set of wired earbuds are just more convenient (take a quick call, for example).
Because of the current state of audio-over-USB-C (read about it here), where the tl;dr is that some phones include a DAC in the phone, but a lot don't, so the latter only work with wired earphones/earbuds that have an integrated DAC (which isn't all USB-C earphones).
So my question is, does anyone know of a cheap pair of wired usb-c headphones that work with the Pixel 2? Because I've ordered two pairs, one of which specifically said it works with Pixel 2s, and both did nothing. Thanks in advance.
Hi there, I'm sure you have a good reason, but why not just connect the included USB-C adapter to your preferred pair of 3.5mm earbuds? I know the adapter itself doesn't work every time, but sounds like it'd be a better option than trying more USB-C earbuds from eBay or wherever.
