Replacing My Deceased ClarityHD Model 1

Five years on my the Monster ClarityHD Model 1 speakers, which have been supplying loud & great sound in my outdoor party area, have gone kaput.

Searching for repair options, the distributor has proved sufficiently useless to boycott their products.

I've contacted a few so called electronic repair shops, but the 'deposit' they demand to assess seems too risky. The money might be better going towards a new outdoor party system.

I looked at & listened to the UE Megablast - it's OK, but not up there with the CLarityHD, IMO, and I don't really need battery powered speakers. Although, they will need to be active and bluetooth capable.

Anyone want to chip in with their two cents worth?

    Found a repairer (I hope)

    In the meantime, yea, I picked up a second Sony XB90 on Gum Tree for $175.00 going OK.
