Why are my upvotes capped 🤔🤷

I didn't find these to be as good as the slazengers.

Seems cheap! I haven't bought tennis balls since back when I last played 15 years ago, but I seem to recall paying at least this price back then.

Expect a lot of these to go on clearance as Australian open has changed it's balls to Dunlop

    • +1

      Seriously? Dunlop?

      • It’s not based on quality, it’s based on who pays AO the most. I heard that Wilson paid AO $1m to steal it off Slazenger back in 2006.

      • Dunlop is owned by a chinese company now.

I’d prefer if the cans weren’t open

  • Now I just need someone to play with my balls.

  • Anyone with a costco membership you can get a box of Penn balls (60 balls) for $50

    • Good deal for the casual player. Wilsons are alot better quality but wont last.

    • As in Costco Aus? They are apparently decent for a cheap ball and being so cheap you can keep using fresh ones

      • Yes Costco Australia

  • last year's ball, old stock clearance.

  • They are still recovering Kyrgios' from the roof gutters.

  • bought it
    thanks

  • These are also good for dogs as they are harder to pop. In comparison to the cheap Kmart balls not in sealed can.

    • So you've tested these actual balls with your dog? I was about to buy a couple of proper rubber doggie balls so they last.

      • +1

I have two dogs, a jack russell and a foxy x jack russell. The foxy can chew through ANYTHING, even those hard rubber doggy balls, in less than 10 minutes. He didn't chew through these specific tennis balls, we actually lost all of them before he got through one. Obviously he's only a foxy so if you have a big dog he'll prob chew through them of course, but mine gets through most balls and he didn't with these!

The real question is, are they green or yellow?

  • very cheap thx

    Free Delivery over $150
    2 for $20

    LOL

  • Wish it's $5 again when they price matched target couple months back

  • bought! thanks OP!

  • "Australian Open Tennis Balls"

Directly underneath: "Ideal for play on grass courts."

    • I noticed that too. Weird. We haven't had grass courts here since 1987.

  • bought heaps of this previously, only problem for me is the ball is too fluffy after playing few times, but in general it is value for money. should stack some as i am little worried about quality of the new AO Ball supplied by Dunlop.

Good deal but they go flat a lot quicker than the Slazengers do

    • that is true, slazengers used to be $15 for 2 in rebel sports
