  • Wonder if someone will price match in Adelaide :/

  • yeh me too, for Melb though!
Id do it in a heartbeat!

  • Somebody's maths ain't too good…

    "save 25% ($785)" then "$1570 value"

Errr, OP… $785 is a saving of FIFTY percent

I realise that you mean it's 25% saving if you do both eyes, but maybe you should make it clearer

  • Seems like a good price at $2,355 for both eyes. Not that you'd want to go to some bargain basement to get your eyes done!

Has anyone had lasik before? heard any horror stories?

    • I did LASIK about 15 years ago and I have almost perfect vision now. If I were to do it again, I'd probably choose the LASEK method, as there are some side effects to LASIK; 1. The area of the eye they threat is small, so at night or in the dark, when your iris is fully open, there's an area where light enters the eye which is not treated, causing you to experience blurryness / halos, so your night vision is not perfect. 2. LASIK cause eye dryness eg when waking up. This can last for several years after the operation. I am mostly fine now though.

Anyone doing radical surgery on one of their most precious organs should read up on the side effects on any procedure. But it's still worth it.

  • I'm very tempted, but researching the companies website leads me to believe that they don't do Lasik Wavefront (personalised for your eyes) and there is no mention of what brand of machine they are using. Both of these can affect the end result of the operation, so I'll not be clicking the buy button on this one.

    • It says that they use a "Bausch and Lomb 217Z LASIK Excimer laser"

  • +1

seems like a good deal. a friend is in today in a clinic in brisbane paying $5k for both and that was one of the cheapest!
