I recently purchased an Apple Watch Series 4 with GPS and cellular connectivity.
I see Optus have a deal currently where they will provide you with 12 months of free eSim connectivity between your iPhone and Apple Watch.
Has anybody had this setup by Optus? In your experience, is the cellular network decent enough to not drop out etc? I live/work in Brisbane/Sunshine Coast.
It would be great to leave my phone at home and go for a jog/walk yet still be connected if needed!
Any feedback would be appreciated :)
I got mine setup a couple of weeks ago. Really depends on the Optus coverage in your area, mine works fantastic here in Sydney North Shore / CBD. I reckon if you have decent reception with your iPhone, it will be similar to the watch.
