Hi I need some recommendation of Budget TV band, like JVC, Kogan, Soniq, AKai and Hisence.
Any comments of these bands. Is It worth to buy a refurbished TV?
Budget TV brands - any recommendation?

The Aldi Bauhn ones are normally pretty good value. Otherwise a Hisense or TCL.
Very happy with Hisense owned for 8 months or so.
Didn't realise Hisense was regarded as a budget brand.
Any one used JVC before?
It is not the same JVC.
Any JVC TV you'd find at BIGW, etc are just rebadged Chinese no-name TVs. Probably made in the same factory with the same clunky user interface as Soniq, Platinum, Akai (rebadged, same as JVC), GVA,….
Hisense is the best budget brand. The only one that can compete with the premium brands (Samsung, Sony, etc.)

Been using an earlier model for a while, mainly as a PC monitor.
Adjusted a few settings, especially Red,and am very happy :)Have some better gear here, however this does the job.
soniq seems to be ok, a bit slow to boot up, limited options you can change but if you just need a tv that works the soniq has been good to me. although i'll be upgrading soon.
+1 for Hisense and TCL they seem to be quality budget brands but research your model.
Thanks everyone! Just bought a hisence P7 50 inch
