Recommended Skeleton Watches under 2k

Hi guys i have a fascination for skeleton watches and would love a high quality one that may last forever that isn't made in China.

After looking around this one seems to be a decent one with a reputable brand.

I'm new to them so I have started to realise theres alot of dodgy brands like Stuhrling that are actually Chinese.

Would love any recommendations around $1000 but may go up to $2000 if its phenomenal.

Is second hand and ebay a fake minefield?

  Tissot is a good brand (afaik - not a watch person) and this watch is made in Switzerland. It's hand-wound, which might be its only drawback?

  Just stay away from 00/57 Speedmastei Professionals like this one.

  I don't know about skeleton watches, but I got a pair of cufflinks that are the inside of old watches. Got them cheaper than this because I bought them from a market.

  Have a squiz at watchrecon … type skeleton into the search function … will help you at least work out what style suits you
