Save over 20% with Telstra Thanks exclusive 10 movie voucher offer.

Normal price of Telstra Thanks tickets is $12.50, so you're only saving $10 buy buying 10 in advance.
That is an 8% saving, not 20%.

    • Edited, just copy/pasted Event’s text that likely referred to the retail price.

Vouchers can be given as gifts, or used in bulk. The other benefit is you don’t need to be a Telstra customer to purchase via this link.

I'm curious how these gift vouchers aren't also subject to the new NSW Fair Trading rules regarding gift card expiry of at least 3 years: https://www.fairtrading.nsw.gov.au/buying-products-and-servi…

They are listed in the exemptions.

      • Presumably this exclusion?

A gift card or voucher sold for a particular good or service that is below the market value of the good or service (a genuine discount)

        • +1

          that's what i was thinking.

You have to pay a booking fee online with gift vouchers which you don’t with Thanks tickets so these are actually more expensive than Telstra.

    • Didn’t know Telstra event vouchers doesn’t have booking fees online

    • I was gonna highlight this. Telstra Thanks is $12.50 with no booking fee. Using a voucher online is $11.50 + $1.40 = $12.90. Deal could still have value for people that buy tickets in-cinema or aren't Telstra customers.

  • $11 for a ticket is a little expensive

  • Event cinemas had $8 vouchers only a few months ago

  • Seems this deal has expired now. The "Add to cart" button is missing :(
