  Did you get a quote from Honda dealer to compare? Have you checked your manual for towing guidance?

    Hi Hybroid, i have checked the price on Honda website , it's showing $1100 and with other 3rd party supplier they have given me a quote for $700.
    I haven't checked the towing guidance on my manual but will check it now.

        Perfect, i have read the review you have sent, it looks alright i can go ahead with 7x4 tow bar / trailer with gross weight 750kg.
        Would you or anyone happened to know the best place in Sydney to get it installed?

        No no no no no!

        Always use redbook for Aussie spec and don't believe figures from UK models.

  Straight from Redbook (or the Honda website):

  Towing Capacity (braked)
  800 kg

  Towing Capacity (Unbraked)
  500 kg

  That's tight. Make sure your quoted trailer weight figure is accurate.

  And towing with a cvt won't be fun

    Thanks Spacebace, i do understand it won't be fun but need the tow bar and trailer for a job that i do once - twice every week.
