AIA Vitality Step Tracking - How Does It Work?

I've been doing step tracking with AIA Vitality since the REST deal was posted a few months ago. The awarding of "points" for steps seems really inconsistent and I'm always missing out on them.

The week just gone, my target was 300 and I earned 50 each on M,W,F,S for 200 total.
But if I look in Apple Health on my phone, I can see I did well over 7500 steps every day.
Is there some kind of trick? Time cut-off?

  • Try uninstalling and reinstalling the app to resync your data. I was having an issue where some days data was missing.

  • 50 points for 7500 ~ 12499 steps
    100 points for 12500+ steps

    Exercises also has points attached as follows
    50 points for 30min (burning 150kcal)
    100 points for 60min (burning 300kcal)

    100 points for 30min (burning 300kcal)

  • Mine wont update until i go into the app and leave it for a few hours.
